Oven baked potato wedges with mayonnaise

Potatoes baked in wedges turn out to be very attractive and tasty - this is an excellent option for a side dish or an independent hot snack. Such potatoes with various sauces are especially good. The preparation of the dish is very simple: peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces, season with mayonnaise and spices, and put them on a baking sheet. The oven will do the rest.

Peel the potatoes, rinse them in running water. After washing, place the tubers on a towel and dry them well.

Cut the dried potatoes into longitudinal pieces - slices, not too thin, but not large either. Place the pieces in a large bowl. Add spices to the potato wedges: a mixture of spices for potatoes, black pepper and salt to taste. We put mayonnaise.

Mix potato wedges with additives so that they are evenly distributed over each other.

Grease a baking sheet or baking dish with vegetable oil or cover with oiled parchment. Lay out the prepared potato wedges on a baking sheet. It is advisable that they do not touch each other. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 190 degrees. We send a baking sheet with potato wedges into it to the middle level and bake for thirty five to forty minutes.

By the end of the baking time, the potatoes should be noticeably browned and soft inside. If you pierce it with a knife, it should enter without resistance.
