Wet Yeast Pizza Dough

If you like pizza on a thin base, where the dough is tender and crispy, then this recipe should not be overlooked. The preparation of such a dough does not require dough and, in general, is quite simple and not troublesome. Provided that the yeast is of good quality and fresh, proofing will not take long. While the pizza toppings are being prepared, the dough will do just fine. To make the dough tasty and delicate in texture, we recommend using olive oil, and sift the flour before adding it.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We heat the water in the specified amount to a warm state. It is important not to overheat it, but also not to leave it cold: the temperature of the liquid should be about thirty-five to forty degrees. Place the water in a bowl where the dough will be kneaded. We dip live yeast into it. Stir them until completely dissolved.
step 2 out of 5
Pour salt and sugar into the resulting mixture, mix.
step 3 out of 5
Add olive oil, mix again.
step 4 out of 5
Sift the flour to enrich it with oxygen - this will make the dough more airy. Add sifted flour in parts to the liquid yeast mixture and begin to knead the dough with a spoon. After more flour has been added, and the dough becomes thicker and denser, we proceed to manual kneading. You may need a little more flour or less flour than indicated in the recipe. It depends on the characteristics of the particular flour. That is why we introduce it in stages and track the resulting consistency. The finished dough should be of medium thickness, keeping its shape well, but not in any way steep.
step 5 out of 5
We knead the dough with our hands on the table for several minutes until it stops sticking to the surfaces. You can immediately divide the mass into the required number of parts, put them together in a bowl for proofing and put in a warm place for thirty to forty minutes. After the dough rises, roll each piece into a round layer and arrange the pizza. We bake the product on such a dough at a temperature of 200 degrees in a preheated oven. The approximate baking time is fifteen to twenty minutes.
