Strawberry jam with agar-agar

Who doesn't love to miss a spoonful or two of strawberry jam with tea in winter? But not everyone loves the taste of gelatin in such a treat. Agar-agar, unlike gelatin, has neither taste nor smell, but acts even faster. So take this strawberry agar jam recipe into service.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Sort the strawberries, remove the tails. Wash and dry the peeled berries on a paper towel.
step 2 out of 7
Cut some of the strawberries into small pieces.
step 3 out of 7
Put chopped strawberries in a saucepan, add sugar there.
step 4 out of 7
Twist the rest of the strawberries in a blender and puree.
step 5 out of 7
Send the resulting strawberry puree to the pan with the rest of the ingredients. Put a saucepan over low heat, add butter and bring the strawberry mass to a boil. Boil the jam for 10 minutes after boiling, then turn off the heat. Let the strawberry jam cool for about 15 minutes.
step 6 out of 7
In a separate container, mix agar-agar with 2 tablespoons of sugar, pour the resulting mixture into strawberry jam.
step 7 out of 7
Put the saucepan on the fire again, bring to a boil, cook after another 10 minutes. Sterilize jars and lids for rolling jam. Pour the ready-made strawberry jam with agar-agar into jars, roll up. Wrap the jars with a blanket, let them cool. Then rearrange the jars of strawberry jam for storage in a cool, dark place. This is delicious!
