We offer a delicious recipe for baked potato wedges in the oven. We recommend using young potatoes - you don't even need to peel them from their delicate skins. Pre-marinate the raw slices in spices and olive oil and only then bake them in the oven. The taste of potatoes is rich and rich. Grated cheese at the end of cooking is an important highlight. It adds a creamy note to the wedges and provides a crust.
Ingredients
Cooking process
Preparing the potatoes. If these are young tubers, then wash them thoroughly in running water with a soft brush, after which we do not clean them and immediately dry them from water. If the tubers have a hard skin, then, of course, we cut it off, then wash the potatoes and dry them. We cut each potato into wedges of more or less equal size.
Place the wedges in a large bowl. Add dried garlic, paprika, salt and black pepper to taste. Pour in olive oil. Mix everything thoroughly together: the spices and oil should be evenly distributed over all the pieces. We leave the potatoes in the resulting marinade for thirty to forty minutes. During this time, mix the slices a couple of times so that they marinate evenly.
Cover the baking sheet with a silicone mat or lightly oiled parchment. Alternatively, put a sheet of foil. We lay out the baked potato wedges so that they are placed separately and do not touch each other - in this case, the crust will be reddened on all sides. We preheat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees. We send a baking sheet with potato wedges into it to the middle level and bake for thirty-five to forty minutes.
By the end of the baking time, the potatoes should be soft and golden brown. Rub the cheese on a fine grater. We take out the baking sheet with potatoes from the oven. Sprinkle each wedge with cheese shavings and return the baking sheet to the oven for ten minutes. The cheese should melt and lightly brown.
Bon Appetit!
