It is with great pleasure that I want to share a classic recipe for an unusually tasty and aromatic jellied meat made from pork shank. The meat appetizer turns out to be aromatic, appetizing and rich. Cold appetizer is perfect for dinner.

Wash the pork knuckle and leg thoroughly and clean it with a knife. Cut the pork knuckle.

Put the pork knuckle and leg in a saucepan with a thick bottom, and cover with cold water so that it completely covers the meat. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Use a slotted spoon to remove the resulting foam, reduce heat to low and cook under the lid for 1 hour.

Prepare the dill seeds and add to the pot.

Peel the onions. Wash the carrots and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Place in a saucepan.
