Gooseberry goes well with orange. Citrus complements it with freshness and aroma. This compote will come in handy on hot summer days when you want to quench your thirst with a fragrant refreshing drink. In the process of preparing the fruit, it is important to thoroughly rinse the orange and pour over it with boiling water so that the peel does not taste bitter in the finished compote. All preparation steps are presented below.

Cooking process
Banks are thoroughly washed and sterilized. We put gooseberries and orange circles in them, trying to evenly distribute the raw materials. You can simply put all the indicated number of fruits in one three-liter jar - it is more convenient and faster. Pour boiling water over the cans with raw materials, let stand for five minutes and pour the water into a saucepan.
Add granulated sugar to the drained water and put it on the stove. Bring the syrup to an active boil and remove from the stove. Pour the syrup into jars with fruits and immediately roll up with sterile lids. We turn the cans upside down to check the tightness and let them cool completely. We put the cooled cans with compote in a cool and dark place for storage. Recommended to be consumed throughout the year.
Bon Appetit!
