Gooseberry and raspberry compote

We offer a recipe for gooseberry and raspberry compote for the winter. The drink is very aromatic, mainly due to the raspberries. Gooseberries add richness and slightly sourness to compote. It is convenient to prepare such a compote for future use, so that at the right time you can just open the can and serve it on the table.

We wash the raspberries with cool water and let the liquid drain.

We also wash the gooseberries, cut off the tails with scissors.

Place raspberries and gooseberries in a jar.

Bring the specified amount of water to a boil on the stove in a saucepan. Pour some of the water into the berries in the jar so that they are only covered with liquid. We stand for ten minutes.
