Raspberry and gooseberry compote turns out to be very aromatic and with a pleasant sweet and sour taste. It will be a great drink for children, especially at a children's party, instead of store-bought lemonade. Such compote is prepared in jars of various sizes. In this recipe, the ingredients are listed per liter jar, so triple the amount.

Raspberries, especially if you have them in your garden, clean the sepals and rinse a little with cold water.

Remove the tails of the gooseberry with small scissors and then rinse well.

Rinse the compote jar with baking soda and sterilize in any way convenient for you. Be sure to boil the lid. Pour clean gooseberries and raspberries into the prepared jar.

In a separate saucepan, boil the required amount of clean water and pour boiling water over the berries in the jar. Then cover the jar with a lid and leave for 10 minutes to infuse.

After 10 minutes, drain the water from the jar through a special lid into the same saucepan, dissolve the calculated amount of sugar in it and boil the syrup for 2-3 minutes.
