Ranetki and currant compote in a 2-liter jar for the winter

Compote made from homemade apples, personally picked from trees, is a tasty and aromatic drink, especially with the addition of currants and gooseberries. Neither adults nor children will remain indifferent!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
We wash the gooseberries and cut off the tails with kitchen scissors. You can use both green berries and red berries, depending on your preference.
step 2 out of 7
Pour a handful of peeled gooseberries into a clean container (sterilization is not required, rinse thoroughly enough and pour over boiling water), the berry should fill about 1/8-1 / 6 of the can.
step 3 out of 7
We also prepare the ranetki: we wash it, remove the leg and send it after the gooseberry.
step 4 out of 7
Several branches of red currant (you can also use black), without separating from the branch, add to the jar. It is these berries that will give the compote a unique sourness and taste.
step 5 out of 7
Pour 2 liters of water into a saucepan, bring to a boil and add 300 grams of sugar. Mix thoroughly and simmer over low heat for no more than 3 minutes.
step 6 out of 7
Fill the jars filled with fruits and berries with boiling syrup, but this should be done with extreme caution and pour the liquid in a thin stream in order to avoid cracking the container.
step 7 out of 7
Roll up the finished compote, turn over and cover with a towel until it cools completely. Next, we remove it to a dark cool place. Bon Appetit!
