Strawberry jam with gelatin

If you want to prepare homemade strawberries for the winter and do not know how, I advise you to use the recipe for strawberry jam with gelatin. Flavored strawberry confiture can be used as a stand-alone delicacy or used as a filling for desserts.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Sort the strawberries carefully. Put the strawberries in a sieve, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain. Place the prepared berries in a metal dish with a thick bottom. Fill the berries with the required amount of granulated sugar, mix thoroughly, put a sprig of fresh mint, after rinsing in water, and leave for 2-4 hours.
step 2 out of 8
During this time, the strawberries will release a sufficient amount of juice. Then put the container with berries on low heat, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally and removing the resulting foam. Cook the jam for 10 minutes. Then remove from heat, cool slightly and remove the mint sprig.
step 3 out of 8
Put the jam on the fire again and cook for 7-10 minutes over low heat after boiling, remove from heat, cool slightly. Use a hand blender to grind the strawberry mass until smooth. Put on fire again and cook for another 10 minutes after boiling, then remove from heat.
step 4 out of 8
Meanwhile, pour the required amount of gelatin into a small container and fill with the amount of drinking water indicated on the package. Leave on for about 10-15 minutes to swell.
step 5 out of 8
Dissolve the swollen gelatin in a water bath. In a thin stream, pour the loose gelatin into the strawberry jam. Mix thoroughly. Put on low heat and bring to a boil, then immediately remove from heat.
step 6 out of 8
Prepare the jars, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave, oven, or water bath. Pour boiling water over the lids or boil in a saucepan for 7-10 minutes. Jars and lids must be completely dry.
step 7 out of 8
Using a ladle, gently pour the hot jam into sterile jars. Tighten jars of strawberry jam with gelatin with sterile lids, then turn upside down. Leave as it is until it cools completely.
step 8 out of 8
When completely cool, turn the jars over and move them to a refrigerator or other cool, dark place for long-term storage. After cooling down completely, you can try a healthy treat.

Enjoy!
