Kystyby from lavash

Tatar kystyby includes thin unleavened flat cakes made from homemade dough stuffed with mashed potatoes. The dish itself is simple and prepares quite quickly, but one way or another you have to tinker with the preparation of the dough. We propose to simplify this process and use thin pita bread. It can also be filled with filling and fried until blush in a pan - it turns out very tasty! In this case, the form of kystyby can be any. In other words: as it is convenient to wrap the filling, do it!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Since you do not need to knead the dough, we immediately start preparing the filling. We cut off the peel from the potato, rinse it and cut it into random small pieces - this way you can shorten the cooking time.
step 2 out of 8
Boil potatoes in salted water until cooked.
step 3 out of 8
While the potatoes are boiling, peel and chop the garlic. We wash the parsley with dill, dry and chop finely with a knife.
step 4 out of 8
After cooking, strain the potatoes from the broth, keeping a little of this liquid for a more plastic consistency of mashed potatoes. We knead the potatoes.
step 5 out of 8
Add butter, garlic, chopped herbs, black pepper and salt to taste. We mix all the components until smooth.
step 6 out of 8
Cut a sheet of pita bread into rectangles. Put a couple of tablespoons of mashed potatoes on them and give it a rectangular shape. We wrap the side edges on the filling - we begin to form the kystyby.
step 7 out of 8
Next, we wrap the top and bottom edges - an envelope turned out.
step 8 out of 8
Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the resulting kystyby on both sides for a couple of minutes. put the ruddy envelopes on a plate with a slide and serve hot.

Bon Appetit!
