Mannik is one of the simplest desserts that even a novice housewife can cook. Airy, moderately sweet and so chocolatey, it will be a great treat for you and your children. Made from natural ingredients, it will perfectly replace store-bought sweets and will look great on the table with a glass of milk or compote. The use of sour cream when kneading the dough makes the manna airy and gives it a creamy taste, and cocoa and jam add a pleasant chocolate aroma and fruity notes to the dough.
Ingredients
Cooking process
A baking dish, we will have it a cake pan, grease with a piece of soft butter and put half the dough into it. Then we lay out the filling: its quality can be any favorite jam (we have apricot), jam or boiled berries, the most important thing is that they should be of a thick consistency so that they do not flow out of the manna. Spread the filling evenly over the dough using a spoon or silicone spatula.
We take the finished manna out of the oven and leave it at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to cool down a little. Then carefully transfer it from the mold to the dish and serve it on the table. If desired, the manna can be sprinkled with powdered sugar and garnished with a sprig of mint. Enjoy your tea!
