Oat pancakes with kefir

I want to share an interesting recipe for oat pancakes with kefir. For the healthiest and most dietary pancake recipe, reduce the amount of wheat flour or replace it with whole grain flour. The amount of wheat flour can also be replaced with oatmeal. Experiment and find the perfect recipe for yourself. Until then, try my recipe.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
First of all, prepare all the necessary ingredients for the kefir oat pancakes. Grind the oatmeal not too finely, using a coffee grinder or blender. Put in a deep container and fill with the required amount of kefir, mix thoroughly and leave for about 15-20 minutes to swell.
step 2 out of 5
Break a chicken egg into the swollen mass and pour in vegetable oil, mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency.
step 3 out of 5
In a separate container, combine the required amount of granulated sugar, baking soda and wheat flour previously sifted through a fine sieve with baking powder. Mix thoroughly with a whisk and then gradually add into the prepared dough. Stir the dough well until a homogeneous mass is formed and the lumps disappear completely.
step 4 out of 5
Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet well over medium heat. Then brush with a little vegetable oil. Using a tablespoon, gently spread the dough at some distance from each other, evenly distributing it over the entire surface of the pan. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
step 5 out of 5
Place the finished pancakes on a platter or large serving plate. Serve cooked oat pancakes on kefir on the table in portions to your favorite hot drinks, if desired, add your favorite sauce or filler - jam, jam, syrup, condensed milk or sour cream.

Enjoy your tea!
