Pancakes on kefir without eggs

Kefir pancakes are an adapted recipe for American pancakes for our realities, since classic North American pancakes can only be baked in sweet milk or cream. If you do not add an egg to this recipe, the pancakes will be even more fluffy. These pancakes are very reminiscent of our native plump pancakes and turn out to be very tasty!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Heat the kefir to room temperature, making sure that it does not curl. Add vegetable oil to it and beat the mass a little with a whisk or mixer.
step 2 out of 7
Sift flour and add to dough.
step 3 out of 7
Beat the dough so that there are no lumps left, you should get a thick dough.
step 4 out of 7
Add baking soda or baking powder to the dough. Soda can be quenched with vinegar if the kefir is not very sour. Let the dough sit for 15 minutes and bubble well.
step 5 out of 7
Heat a skillet over medium heat so that the pancakes can be completely baked, they will be plump. Using a scoop, pour one round pancake into the skillet at a time.
step 6 out of 7
Bake the pancake on one side until the top is bubbling and begins to thicken; you can bake under the lid. Then bake the pancake until tender on the second side.
step 7 out of 7
Put ready-made kefir pancakes in a pile and serve with honey, condensed milk, cream or sour cream.

Bon Appetit!
