Liver cake on water

This dish can undoubtedly be called unconventional, primarily because of its name. After all, we most often find the word "cake" in the "desserts" section. But a liver cake on water can act both as an appetizer and as a full-fledged dish that will perfectly fit into the festive and everyday menu.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Pour 130 grams of flour into a dry frying pan and fry over low heat for several minutes.
step 2 out of 10
We wash the beef liver, and then remove films and veins if necessary. We send the liver to a blender and grind.
step 3 out of 10
In a separate bowl, combine three eggs, milk and water, as well as butter, which must first be melted, and salt.
step 4 out of 10
Combine the resulting mass with chopped liver, gradually introduce toasted flour. Mix everything well. The mass should have a creamy consistency.
step 5 out of 10
We form thin pancakes from the resulting dough.
step 6 out of 10
Fry them in a skillet on both sides for a couple of minutes.
step 7 out of 10
Chop carrots and onions.
step 8 out of 10
We send chopped vegetables to stew in a pan.
step 9 out of 10
Put the pancake on the bottom of a flat plate, grease it with mayonnaise, and then spread a small amount of the filling on it, evenly distributing it.
step 10 out of 10
We do the same manipulations with subsequent layers. The last level of the cake must be sprinkled with boiled yolks and herbs grated on a fine grater. Let the cake steep in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before serving.
