Pilaf with beef in a pot in the oven

An original way to cook pilaf with beef. Traditionally, this dish is prepared in a cauldron, but when you need to cook a small amount of pilaf, you can use clay pots and bake the dish in the oven.

Rinse the beef pulp, dry and cut into cubes.

Peel and cut onions into thin half rings.

Peel the carrots, wash and grate on a coarse grater.

Pour vegetable oil into a preheated pan, put the meat and fry it over high heat. When all the moisture has evaporated, add the chopped onions and carrots, continue to fry until the vegetables are soft.

Put the roast of meat and vegetables in pots, add washed rice, add spices, salt, peeled cloves of garlic and bay leaf. Pour hot water over the contents of the pots so that 1.5-2 centimeters remain to the top.
