Chocolate muffin in a slow cooker

Delicate chocolate cake will never go unnoticed when it comes to dessert. It can be served as a separate sweet, or it can be accompanied by icing, a scoop of ice cream, chopped fruit. Its texture is very delicate and porous - this is the merit of the high-quality beating of the egg base of the dough and the uniform temperature when baking in a multicooker.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
We take out the oil from the refrigerator, as we need to bring it to room temperature. Rinse the raisins well and fill them with boiling water, leave them to swell. Break eggs into a separate wide dish, add granulated sugar and beat with a mixer at high speed.
step 2 out of 8
Beat the egg-sugar mass for a couple of minutes to form a dense, fluffy, almost white foam.
step 3 out of 8
Add pieces of soft butter to the mixture and beat well to achieve complete mixing of the ingredients. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Without stopping whipping, add in portions flour with baking powder and salt, as well as cocoa to the egg-sugar mixture. The consistency of the resulting dough should be uniform, without a single lump, rather liquid and fluid.
step 4 out of 8
The turn of the raisins has come: it must be drained from the liquid, squeezed slightly to get rid of excess moisture and dried thoroughly with a paper towel. Pour the prepared raisins into the dough and gently mix with a spatula in a circular motion from top to bottom. Leave the dough to stand for ten minutes.
step 5 out of 8
Meanwhile, fry the walnuts in a dry frying pan for five minutes, the nuts should dry out, brown a little and begin to emit a pleasant nutty aroma.
step 6 out of 8
Pour the fried nuts on a cutting board, cool and cut them into small pieces with a knife. You can use a blender for grinding, the main thing is not to grind too hard, tangible pieces should remain.
step 7 out of 8
Pour the nuts into the dough, mix gently with a spatula. We prepare the multicooker bowl for baking: it must be thickly greased with butter. It is not recommended to use vegetable oil to lubricate the pan when baking this cake, as it can give an extra aroma that is incompatible with the taste of chocolate cake. Pour the chocolate dough into the prepared multicooker bowl.
step 8 out of 8
We close the lid of the multicooker and set the “Baking” mode. Baking the cake takes about 50-60 minutes. After this time, you can check the readiness of the cake by sticking a toothpick into the middle. If it came out dry, without sticky dough, then the cake is ready. If you need to bake the product, manually add the time for the selected mode and continue baking, not forgetting to follow the process. Cool the finished cake in a bowl and remove it by turning it onto a plate.Let cool completely. The finished cake can be covered with chocolate icing, sprinkled with powdered sugar or served in its original form, it is good on its own.
