Whole baked beets without foil in the oven

Usually, foil is used for baking beets - it is easy to create any shape from it, it keeps the temperature well during baking. Parchment has similar properties. If you need to bake the roots, but there was no foil at home, you can successfully use parchment.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Wash every beet well in water. If necessary, use a soft brush to remove any dirt from the surface of the peel. Then we dry each root crop from excess moisture.
step 2 out of 5
Cut out pieces of the desired size from parchment - so as to wrap each root vegetable according to the principle of a bag. Wrap it up, twist the edges tightly, as in the photo. Place the beets in parchment on a dry baking sheet or in a wide baking dish.
step 3 out of 5
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees. We send a baking sheet with beets into it and bake for about an hour. By the end of the baking time, slightly unfold the beets and pierce with a toothpick: if it enters without resistance, then the roots are ready.
step 4 out of 5
We take out the beets from the oven and transfer them to a plate to cool. Expand and remove the parchment.
step 5 out of 5
Peel the cooled beets and use them according to the recipe. Baked unpeeled root vegetables can be placed in a container and stored in the refrigerator for two to three days.
