Pizza dough with honey and yeast

Quite often in baked goods, you can find a substitute for sugar for honey. Pizza dough is no exception. Honey, like sugar, triggers the yeast to work and ensures the formation of a golden crust. According to this recipe, the dough is prepared quite quickly and does not require much trouble. And the result will be a porous, delicate base on which any filling will reveal the best shades of taste.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 12
Honey for making the dough must be liquid - it is much more convenient to mix it with the rest of the ingredients. If the product has hardened, then heat it in the microwave or in a water bath until it flows. Place honey in a bowl and knead the dough.
step 2 out of 12
Pour warm water in the specified amount into a bowl. Stir until honey dissolves.
step 3 out of 12
Pour dry yeast on top and do not stir. We leave the granules on the surface of the liquid so that they swell a little. Five to six minutes will be enough.
step 4 out of 12
Next, pour in the extra virgin olive oil with its characteristic aroma and taste.
step 5 out of 12
Pour in salt and now mix everything together with a whisk until smooth.
step 6 out of 12
Pour flour in portions and gradually knead the dough. First, mix with a spoon or spatula, and as the thickness gains, we switch to manual kneading.
step 7 out of 12
You may need a little less flour or more than indicated in the recipe - it depends on the characteristics of a particular product. The finished consistency should be not steep, soft, but keeping its shape.
step 8 out of 12
We transfer the dough to the work surface and begin to knead it with our hands. We work for five to six minutes, until the mass stops sticking to the hands and surface.
step 9 out of 12
Roll a ball out of the dough, put it in a bowl and cover with a clean towel. We put the dishes with the dough in a warm place for thirty to forty minutes to rise.
step 10 out of 12
After the specified time, the dough will noticeably increase and become softer. On the cut, a spongy structure can be seen. Slightly knead the mass right in a bowl.
step 11 out of 12
Roll out with a rolling pin into a layer five to six millimeters thick. We shift the layer to a baking sheet.
step 12 out of 12
We spread the planned filling on top and bake at a temperature of 200 degrees in a preheated oven for fifteen to twenty minutes.

Bon Appetit!
