Curd cake in a bread maker

This recipe will appeal to the owners of a wonderful device - a bread machine. The curd dough bakes well, the finished cake is porous and aromatic. A piece of such pastry will be very useful for a cup of tea or coffee. Let's get started!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
First, the eggs must be well cooled. You can just break them into a bowl and place them in the refrigerator for half an hour.
step 2 out of 8
Add sugar to completely cold eggs. Beat everything together with a mixer, starting at low speed and gradually increasing the speed. You should get a thick, almost white foam.
step 3 out of 8
We prepare cottage cheese. It is not recommended to use too moist cottage cheese, as this will require the addition of more flour, which will make the cake heavy and dense. If necessary, the curd can be squeezed out to get rid of excess liquid.
step 4 out of 8
Pour the egg-sugar mixture into a bucket of a bread machine. We also add cottage cheese there.
step 5 out of 8
Sift the flour and mix with baking powder, pour it into a bucket of a bread machine.
step 6 out of 8
Remove the butter from the refrigerator beforehand so that it becomes completely soft. You can also soften it in the microwave on low power if you don't have time to wait. In such a soft state, we put it in a bucket with the rest of the ingredients.
step 7 out of 8
Add salt last. We put the form in the bread maker and press the "Kneading dough" mode for five minutes. The dough after kneading turns out to be rather soft, sticky, but forms a lump well. If necessary, you can add more flour at this stage.
step 8 out of 8
After kneading, set the "Baking" program for 1 hour 25 minutes. After this time, it is recommended to check the readiness of the cake by piercing it with a wooden stick or a toothpick - it should come out completely dry. If there is sticky dough, manually add the time and leave the cake to bake. The finished cake, while still hot, must be removed from the mold and placed to cool on the wire rack. This is important because if the cake is left to cool in a mold or on a flat tabletop, the bottom of the cake will become damp. Cut the cooled cake into portions, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and serve.

Bon Appetit!
