Five-minute jam from grated strawberries

Someone freezes the grated strawberries for the winter, and someone grinds them with sugar. However, grated raw strawberries are poorly stored and even storage in the refrigerator does not guarantee you that I will not ferment for a year. Having made a five-minute jam from berries, you will get a guarantee that the product will not go to the trash in a couple of weeks or months, and you will not spend so much time.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Put the strawberries, clean and carefully sorted out from debris, foulbrood and insects, in a saucepan or bowl for making jam. Take an enamel dish or one that will prevent the jam from burning and sticking to the bottom.
step 2 out of 5
Add all the sugar to the berries at once and use the most ordinary wooden mortar to grind the berries with sugar until puree. You can mince the berries instead, or use a blender to beat them up.
step 3 out of 5
Put a bowl with grated berries and granulated sugar on the stove and bring to a boil over medium heat, and then simmer for five minutes over low heat.
step 4 out of 5
You can sterilize the seaming jars at the same time in the oven at 100 degrees for ten minutes, but be sure to boil the lids.
step 5 out of 5
Pour the finished jam quickly into sterile jars and roll up or tighten with sterile lids. Turn the jars upside down, wrap them up and leave until they cool completely. Then, after a day and a half, put it in a pantry or cellar for storage.
