For the dough, mix in a deep container 200 milliliters of kefir, 1 chicken egg, 2 tablespoons of sugar and half a teaspoon of salt. Stir the resulting mixture well. Sift the flour in advance. It is advisable to do this several times so that the resulting dough is fluffy. We begin to add flour in small portions. Stir the dough constantly with a spoon. When all the flour is in the plate, continue kneading the dough, but with the help of your hands. Place it on any flat surface that you need to sprinkle with flour in advance. Knead the dough for a few minutes and form into a ball. Try not to add more flour to the dough, as it can get dense and tough. Transfer the dough to a plate and set aside for 20 minutes. Don't worry if your dough is crumbly.

For the filling, we need cherries, sugar and potato starch. Transfer the frozen cherries to a plate. You can rinse it in cold water if desired. It should already be pitted. In another container, mix 5 teaspoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of starch. Thanks to the starch, the cherry juice will not flow out of the dumplings.
